The first pictures were taken just outside from Windhoeck the capital before going nort towards Waterberg and Etosha. It was summer so the dry season and no mosquitoes or malaria. Beside the animals are regrouping around the waterholes.
We rent two pick-up trucks (called bakkies in Namibia) equipped with camping gear from the south-Africa army: heavy duty stuff !
We first went to Tsaobis a farm which takes care of lepard, then to the
Waterberg NP and to
Etosha. We spent 3 days there spotting lots of wild animals.

Then we went to
Damaraland and a bit of Kaokoland too, towards the
Palmwag oasis. We saw many
petroglyphs around the Brandberg, climb on the
Spitzkoppe, then relax a few days in Swakopmund.
The smelly Cape Cross was just worth the visit, but we loved the
Messum crater area very much. Then we headed south to
Sesriem and the
big dunes from The Namib desert. We also spent two days offroading in the Naukluft. The last days were for the deep south, the beautiful
Fish River Canyon was just for us and so the
Brukkaros crater.
